Mrs. Rice has been teaching for 11 years in multiple subject areas including ELA, math, science, special education and as a librarian. She is a graduate of Fairport High School and Nazareth College where she completed her undergraduate work in Inclusive Education. She has two master's degrees - one in education technology from Nazareth College and another from and St. John Fisher College in library science. Mrs. Rice has spent most of her career teaching middle school students and loves to work with them, empowering them to grow into READY and resourceful adolescents.

- Maintaining a clean, orderly and diverse populars collection for students & staff
- Teaching lessons on information literacy and the research process
- Promoting academic honesty and digital citizenship
- Support with citations, acceptable use and copyright
- Designing Morning and Afternoon Meeting entertainment
- 8th Grade Ready Skills Class
- The creation of Enrichment courses
